 Great-Kozjak-Waterfall

The Kozjak Waterfall is a very photogenic 49.21 ft (15 meters) high waterfall located at the edge of the Triglav National Park near the town of Kobarid in the far north-western corner of Slovenia. The waterfall is created by the crystal-clear Kozjak Stream, a left tributary of Soca River, which springs from several catchment areas high under the  Krncica mountain, runs through several chutes, and drops over six waterfalls, but only the lower two are accessible to visitors.
The waterfall is hidden in a fairly large open karst cave-like area and falls 15 meters into an amazing emerald green pool nested between magnificent dark rocks – it is the setting and the color of the water which makes Kozjak spectacular.
