I’m an artist. Can I sell my work on VeriArtem?
To sell art online with VeriArtem register as seller > option Artist.
What type of artwork can I sell with VeriArtem?
You can sell any original artwork “ Unique Artwork” and limited edition prints.
Is any price limit or number of artwork that should be uploaded?
NO, your artwork, your price, one artwork item is minimum.
Can I sell also on other art platforms?
Yes, if you advertise works using several platforms it is important only that prices align or are lower, remember we DO NOT charge commission on sale. When you submit artwork you need to include your asking price for each item.
Does the artwork need certificate of authenticity?
If certificates of authenticity is not included with artwork that should be noted in your description.
Can I offer sale price for limited time?
To encourage purchases you may offer discount to customer’s. The artwork image will have tag “Sale” and description will have Old and Sale price. Sale tag is only available if price is in Pound Sterling.
Can I upload more than one image?
We recommend you to include images of the artwork if framed with and without frame, if signed close up image of artist’s signature, the back of the artwork image of any condition issues and image of paperwork confirming appraisal or authenticity. If the work is a numbered edition include a close up image of the edition number and foundary stamp in the case of sculptures.
Can I include artwork description?
We recommend you to include information or the story behind each artwork you are selling that may be of interest to potential buyers. Your description can be up to 1000 characters.
Additional Artwork Description:
– Packaging
Include packaging material and any additional cost with artwork description.
Artworks that are too large to ship may need to be packed in an art crate. The cost of the art crate should be included in the artwork description,
– Framing
If a artwork is sold framed, that should be included in artwork description.
– Payment methods.
Include what method of payment you accept e. g. Credit / Debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB), Paypal, Apple Pay.
– Shipping dimensions
Length, width and height details can be in inches or metric.
– Shipping destinations.
Include destination with artwork description.
– Shipping costs & times
We encourage sellers to include shipping charges for UK customer’s in their prices.
You’re free to add your own shipping prices for domestic / international customers.
The cost of shipping artwork and delivery time vary significantly depending on the distance it is being shipped. Include details with your artwork.
– Damages in Transit & Shipping Insurance
Include description with artwork description.
– Tracking order.
Include details if applicable.
– Taxes and duties
Include details what taxes and or duties are incuded in price.
When do I get paid for sold artwork on VeriArtem Marketplace?
Payment goes directly to your account. You need to accept online payment ie paypal, stripe or similar. We do not charge any commission on sale.
Returns & Refunds
You need to comply with VeriArtem Return & Refund Policy. You have right to diverge from VeriArtem Return & Return Policy but that need to be noted with your artwork description.
Can buyer cancel order?
The buyers have right to cancel order according to VeriArtem Return and Refund Policy unless otherwise noted with your artwork description . The buyer deal directly with you.
If you sell outside of your country residence your artwork description should include exemptions if applicable e. g. International Buyers: import duties, shipping charges and or and value added taxes (VAT) cannot be recovered if you return an artwork.
